Abstract

In this study, we plan to investigate how individuals trust and search for information when an AI assistant provides clear vs. vague responses during a trivia task. We also examine how individual differences, such as thinking style, intolerance of uncertainty, and parasocial relationship formation, predict varying reactions to vague answers.
