Abstract
We examined how trust and cohesion in society predict loneliness, mental wellbeing, and general wellbeing in 10,227 Singapore residents (Queenstown n=5,225; Ang Mo Kio n=5,002) from Health District Project. Buffers (protecting against low trust) and boosters (enhancing wellbeing) across communities including, not limited to self-efficacy, social support, and belonging.
