Symptom-Level Comorbidity Patterns between Depression and Internet Gaming Disorder Among Hong Kong Adolescents: Evidence from Cross-Lagged Panel Network Analysis with Gender Considerations

This study applied cross-lagged panel network analysis over two waves to uncover the interplay between depression and IGD symptoms in a sample of 538 adolescents (Mean age = 12.51 years; 53.7% female), with separate models estimated across gender. This study advances the understanding of comorbidity mechanisms in adolescent mental health.
