Abstract
This qualitative study examines how White emerging adults in two U.S. regions understand and express White culture. Interviews with 60 participants reveal confusion, denial, and claims of being “cultureless,” even as they describe distinctive upbringing, foods, sports, and religious practices as merely “normal,” highlighting Whiteness as both distinctive and invisible.
