Exploring the Effects of Tabletop Role-Playing Games (TRPG) on Empathy: The Mediating Role of Attitudes Towards Mental Illness

This study will examine whether a Tabletop Role-Playing Games session can enhance engagement, attitudes toward mental illness, and empathy among 200 youths (ages 16–24). Pre‑ and post‑tests will assess changes, and mediation analysis will be conducted to test whether attitude changes mediate the relationship between TRPG engagement and empathy development.
