In the Spur of the Moment: The Development and Initial Validation of a Multidimensional Measure of State Impulsivity

Abstract
Defined as the tendency to act without forethought, impulsivity is closely linked to numerous life outcomes. In this study, we developed and validated SPUR, a multidimensional momentary measure of impulsivity which allows researchers to examine how cognitive, affective, and behavioral dimensions of impulsivity unfold in everyday life.
