Abstract
We tested whether inhibitory control indirectly linked family conflict to later adolescent depression and suicide using Random Intercept Cross-Lagged Panel Models (RI-CLPM) on harmonized data from three prevention trials (N=2322). Moderated nonlinear factor analysis (MNLFA) created harmonized scores. Findings highlight RI-CLPM’s utility and suggest additional developmental factors influence adolescent psychopathology.
