Do Transformative Teaching Practices Improve Grades and Foster a Sense of Belonging In Introductory STEM Courses?

Teaching methods can have a substantial impact on student success. In this study, we will examine whether transformative teaching practices improve grades, increase retention and foster a sense of belonging. Data to be collected include grades, classroom observations, and survey responses at the beginning and end of the term.
