Abstract
In a sample of 301 preschoolers (M age = 46.93 months), individual- and classroom-level emotion regulation (ER) were both positively associated with children’s later individual ER, emphasizing the important role of peers in emotion socialization in early childhood. Individual ER was also negatively associated with children’s later physical aggression.
