Treating Adult ADHD to Enhance Parent Behavior Management Training for Kids with ADHD

This RCT tests if adding adult ADHD CBT to parent behavior management training (PBMT) improves outcomes for parent–child ADHD dyads. We predict CBT→PBMT will yield greater reductions in parental ADHD symptoms, child behavior problems, and caregiver strain than PBMT alone, with parental symptom improvement mediating child improvements and caregiver strain.
