Abstract

We will examine whether false alarms to disgust- and fear-related stimuli arise from misleading memory signals or decision biases using a two-stage recognition paradigm in two experiments. If decision biases contribute more to disgust-related false alarms, the FC-accuracy and error-speed effects should be diminished/eliminated for disgust- versus fear-related items.
