Abstract
The proposed longitudinal study (n=77, 53% girls) uses Social Domain Theory, dyadic observational paradigms, and structural equation modeling to examine how autonomy supportive parenting and adolescent self-disclosure mediate associations between parental substance use and adolescent psychopathology. Findings may reveal nuanced etiological trajectories of psychopathology in contexts of parent substance use.
