Abstract
Mediation models tested intergenerational associations between maternal adverse childhood experiences and child socioemotional outcomes at 54 months via parent-reported child executive functioning and self-regulation at 36 months. Results revealed executive function and self-regulation were associated with negative emotionality and well-being, with executive function operating as a mediator for later well-being.
