Abstract
We evaluated self-reflection as a mediator between self-compassion and life satisfaction. Among 159 students (70 ADHD; 89 non-ADHD; Mage = 20.3; α = .79–.85), mediation appeared only for ADHD participants. Qualitative analyses corroborated this pathway, showing reflection was a more consciously deployed strategy among ADHD students.
