Abstract
Hispanics compared to whites held more positive attitudes toward Hispanic immigrants. However, negative attitudes toward Hispanic immigrants were more strongly predicted by Purity values and In-group Preferences in Whites than in Hispanics. More recent generational connections in Hispanics may temper negative attitudes toward Hispanic immigrants.
