Abstract
People diagnosed with social anxiety disorder (n = 98) scored higher than controls (n = 154) on an imagery-based task assessing outcome probability bias in social situations, t(250) = 7.63, p < .001, d = 0.99. These results support the construct validity of this newly developed cognitive bias task.
