Abstract
Immigration status may influence mental health attitudes. Using Healthy Minds Study data, we found that students in the nonsecure documentation group perceived greater public stigma, reported lower self-stigma, and indicated lower help-seeking intentions. These results suggest public stigma may be a barrier for help-seeking intentions among individuals with nonsecure documentation.
