Abstract

We will examine whether Korean adults implicitly associate men with brilliance and women with effort. 200 participants will complete a brilliance–effort IAT and surveys assessing gender essentialism and modern sexism. We expect stronger ideological beliefs to predict stronger implicit brilliance bias, highlighting meaningful gender-ideological influences on talent perceptions.
