Abstract

This exploratory study examines mental health literacy (MHL) among university students in the UAE using open-ended vignettes and validated scales. It assesses disorder recognition, help-seeking intentions, and positive mental health literacy. Findings will provide baseline data on MHL to inform targeted mental health initiatives that support youth wellbeing.
