Abstract
This mixed-methods study examined gender differences in inclusive climate at a U. S. university. Quantitatively, females reported slightly higher levels of institutional inclusion and no differences in departmental inclusion. Qualitatively, females described more negative inclusion experiences, including bias and discrimination, yet more frequently acknowledged inclusive departmental practices compared to males.
