Abstract
We showed "look-at-nothing" effects during continuous narrative recall in both younger and older adults, with distinct patterns between age groups. Younger adults fixated on an object’s former location 3s before speaking about it, whereas older adults displayed prolonged processing and continued to increase fixation to the region after verbal onset.
