Should I Stay or Should I Go? Work-Life Balance Isn’t Giving the Answer. Latent Profile Analysis of Postsecondary Teachers’ Work-Life Balance and Job Attitudes

This study examined work-life balance (WLB) among college teachers using latent profile analysis. Three distinct WLB profiles emerged. However, profiles showed no significant differences in job satisfaction or turnover intentions. Findings challenge assumptions linking low WLB to negative outcomes and highlight the value of person-centered approaches in WLB research.
