Abstract

This study will assess whether descriptive names reduce retrieval errors in proper name recall. Participants across two age groups will learn name and hobby pairs varying in semantic relatedness. Accuracy analyses and error types will clarify whether descriptive names provide an advantage, offering implications for age-related differences in name memory.
