Abstract

This study examined whether anxiety and depression mediate the relationship between sleep disturbance and cancer-related cognitive impairment among Nigerian cancer patients. Sleep disturbance was indirectly associated with cognitive impairment through anxiety and depression, indicating that sleep problems increase emotional distress, which in turn contributes to poorer perceived cognitive functioning.
