What Makes You a Prosocial Risk-Taker? Exploring the Psychological Predictors of Prosocial Risk-Taking Among College Students In India

Abstract
The study examined psychological predictors of prosocial risk-taking among 74 college students (ages 18–21). Multiple regression showed empathic concern (β = .39) and perspective-taking (β = .18) predicted higher PSRT, while social cognition negatively predicted it (β = –.20), indicating empathy as central to youth prosocial risk behavior.
