Abstract
An increase in severe weather has put many at risk of developing weather-related PTSD symptoms due to the potentially traumatic nature of severe weather events. In a broad U.S. sample, we found that trauma history, coping with substances, benzodiazepine use, and natural disaster exposure predicted weather-related PTSD.
