Abstract

This proposal examines whether neuropsychological functions linked to the insula and anterior cingulate relate to intimate partner violence risk in adult women from Colima, Mexico. Employing validated risk assessments, measures of interoception, emotion recognition, and executive control, the study aims to identify neurocognitive markers to inform prevention and clinical interventions.
