Abstract
This longitudinal study of 333 Singapore families examined within-family links in parents’ and adolescents’ emotion regulation across three waves. Higher parental dysregulation corresponded with higher adolescent dysregulation. An adolescent-father cross-lag emerged from T1 to T2, and adolescent dysregulation persisted from T2 to T3. Findings highlight dynamic family emotional processes.
