Linking Goal Orientations for Teaching to Affective Commitment through Serial Mediation of Social Networking Behaviors and Work Engagement

Abstract
This study investigated how teachers' goal orientations impact affective commitment through social networking behaviors and work engagement using Structural Equation Modeling with 517 participants. Mastery-goal orientation showed significant serial mediation effects, highlighting the importance of motivational and social mechanisms for advancing theory and enhancing teachers' affective commitment in post-pandemic education.
