Abstract

Women seeking hormone therapy to treat menopausal symptoms experience the benefits of estrogen, progestin and combined hormone treatment. We examined hormone use and neuropsychological functioning in 2,245 menopausal women. Progestin and combined hormone treatment were associated with better working memory in comparison to non-users.
