Abstract
This proof of concept randomized controlled trial tested approach bias retraining among dual combustible and electronic cigarette users. The combined training group showed the strongest increases in avoidance of nicotine cues over time, while abstinence rates were modest. Findings suggest approach bias retraining may support improved nicotine cessation outcomes.
