Abstract
The form of trait anger rumination may reflect specific underlying neural characteristics. In 91 college students, internalized anger did not predict post-task EEG frontal asymmetry, but externalized anger was associated with greater relative left-hemisphere activity. Results link trait externalized anger to similar neural patterns associated with risk for psychopathology.
