Abstract
Some occupations are described as heroic (e.g., firefighters). Implications of occupational heroism remain unclear. In two registered studies (representative UK sample, N = 1270, 608 Males, Mage = 46.96), we evaluated the psychological structure of occupational heroism and whether such perceptions are associated with shielding workers from negative moral evaluations.
