Voices of the Next Generation: Research to Inform Social Media Regulations for Youth

This study examines adolescent views on social media regulations through focusgroups with 60 teens (ages 13-17) using age-appropriate, structured activities. Using Self-Determination Theory as a theoretical framework and employing thematic analysis, findings aimto explore how policies affect youth online experiences, informing developmentally sensitiveregulation and future research.
