No Words for Emotions: Using Linguistic Analysis to Characterize Alexithymia In Autobiographical Memory Narratives of Social Events

Abstract
This study will investigate and compare the linguistic features of social anxiety-related, neutral, and positive social autobiographical memory narratives in participants with and without alexithymia. Memory narratives will be analyzed using the Linguistic Inquiry and Word Count software and the Valence Aware Dictionary and Sentiment Reasoner sentiment analysis tool.
