Abstract
Children with ADHD are at-risk to experience more adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) than their typically developing peers. In-line with developmental and allostatic load theories, ACEs appear to have a cumulative effect on emotion regulation in children with ADHD, where more ACEs were associated with worse emotion dysregulation in this sample.
