Abstract
A three-wave longitudinal study revealed gender-differentiated pathways: parenting behaviors significantly predicted boys’ attention–hyperactivity trajectory classes through cumulative exposure effects, whereas girls showed immediate and persistent sensitivity to specific negative parenting. These findings clarify distinct developmental mechanisms by gender.
