Abstract
The cultural concept of loss of face (LOF) is often applied to Asian populations as a whole, despite being based on the social concept of “face” from East Asian (EA) cultures. This study seeks to examine LOF across Asian ethnic subgroups by comparing EA parents and South Asian parents.
