Abstract
We developed a measure of emotion regulation (ER) effort flexibility in a sample of 106 young adults (62.26% female, Mage=25.66), including 52 healthy volunteers and 54 individuals with remitted depression. Less ER effort flexibility explained the relationship between depression history and less successful regulation in everyday life.
