Abstract
We tested measurement invariance of a latent externalizing model as a function of systemic factors in justice-involved youth. Systemic variables affected the externalizing measurement model mainly through intercept differences. Being Black (vs. White) and endorsing lower levels of procedural justice elevated scores on indicators not commensurate with latent trait level.
