Abstract

This study examined whether social approach behavior in socially motivated online spaces moderates the association between emotional connection to online friends and general well-being in a sample of LGBTQ+ young adults (N = 355). A four-way factorial ANOVA revealed a significant interaction between disclosure and feeling connected to online communities.
