Abstract
This study examines whether the primacy effect in juror punishment judgments is moderated by language modality. Participants will read or hear case scenarios where extenuating background and violation information order varies. We predict the audio modality will exacerbate the primacy effect, demonstrating the importance of presentation order in moral judgement-making.
