Association of White Matter Hyperintensity and the Severity of Anxiety In Patients with Newly Diagnosed Unruptured Intracranial Aneurysms

The severity of white matter hyperintensities on MR imaging and several blood inflammatory markers are associated with obvious or severe anxiety symptoms in patients with newly diagnosed unruptured intracranial aneurysms. Management needs to address not only the intracranial aneurysm but also the mood symptoms and vascular risk factors.
