Abstract
We developed the SInG Scale using 147 transgender and nonbinary singers and validated it with 159 additional TNB singers. Four reliable factors emerged. Vocal gender incongruence—differences between current and desired vocal gender—correlated positively with SInG scores. Findings highlight singing-specific gender incongruence and support the scale’s construct validity.
