Abstract
We tested the effect of acute alcohol administration on visual-affective processing in response to emotionally valenced stimuli using three event-related potentials (EPN, P3, LPP). 95 participants (age≥ 21) were randomly assigned to three conditions (alcohol, placebo, no beverage control). Significant differences in amplitude of brain responses between groups were found.
