Narratives of the Impossible: Mental Health of Filipino Migrant Domestic Workers In Hong Kong SAR

In-depth narratives from 32 Filipino migrant domestic workers in Hong Kong SAR revealed the detrimental impact on psychological well-being of conflicting, structurally impossible demands arising from their intersecting roles to fulfill. These expectations create chronic internal conflict and contribute significantly to varying degrees of mental health concerns.
