Abstract
Using Finnish register data (N = 835,512) and a series of negative binomial regression models, we examined whether Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) predict specific or broad adolescent offending. ACEs reflecting household dysfunction were associated with all crime types studied, underscoring their wide developmental impact and informing trauma-focused prevention strategies.
