Abstract

This study examined attentional bias toward resilience-related words in Italian university students using an Emotional Stroop task. Individuals with high posttraumatic growth showed longer reaction times for positive resilience terms, indicating focused attentional engagement. Bias correlated with reward sensitivity, suggesting that approach motivation supports cognitive processes underlying resilience.
