Abstract
300 Canadian multiethnic adolescents (ages 13-17) reported on their parents’ parenting features. Latent profile analysis identified that interethnic parents high in autonomy support and ethnic socialization and low in control were also characterized as having the most positive coparenting quality, underscoring markers of optimal family dynamics among mixed-ethnicity families.
