Abstract
The current study investigated if perceived danger of severe weather predicts eco-anxiety in 451 U.S. adults. Hierarchical regression analyses found that perceived danger of various types of severe weather uniquely and significantly predicted eco-anxiety while controlling for demographics. These findings underscore the potential mental health impacts of severe weather appraisals.
